Nexus addresses three doors, one platform behind them

Your account, balance and orders are the same through all three. Copy rather than retype, and check the signature once you are through.

An address that opens is not an address that is genuine. The check that settles it takes under a minute.

Reference

Six pages that every path needs some of. They are here rather than repeated inside each path.

The order they matter in

Not the order they are listed in. If you are setting up from scratch, the key comes before the address, because an address you cannot verify is a string somebody gave you. Everything else assumes those two are done.

  1. The key, because it is what makes any of the rest checkable.
  2. The client, because everything happens through it and the wrong one undoes the others.
  3. The address, which is only meaningful once the first two exist.
  4. The account, then the money, then the order. In that sequence, never compressed.
